Biography: Tony Johnson is an international consultant with 25 years experience working with computer technology. In the last ten years, he has focused on the application of techology to improve organizational and personal productivity.
In 1986 Tony led the design team at Ashton Tate, which delivered the award winning dBase 4 database. The project grew out of work he was doing on database technology for the renowned author and technology guru James Martin. From 1988-1992 he left consulting and became corporate computer manager at the Financial Times. Through the application of new technology solutions, he helped the Financial Times to reduce information costs dramatically.
Mr. Johnson is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, speaks at conferences worldwide, and divides his time between the US, UK and the Caribbean, researching, writing, and analyzing the computer and information industries.
